Our team will assist you throughout the entire process, from the first offer phase, arranging necessary formalities, until the payment/metal transfer. We adjust our all-in solution so it is tailored to your wishes. We carry out the shipment in accordance with the regulation for shipments of waste and other applicable legislation. PRODUCER
You are the generator of the waste or by-product. We collect all the usefull informaiton about your material, we can analyse a sample after which we provide a tailored commercial and technical proposal for recycling or reclaim, based on your needs, legal requirements, product specifications and classification.
BIN RENTAL
We are able to handle catalyst-bins and quickly return them (generally within 14 days) which assures the lowest rental-costs.

FORMALITIES
Nowadays many legal requirements and laws are applicable to the transportation of (waste) material. For example in the case of transboundary shipments, for which an export-license has to be obtained prior to transport.
Our specialized team has experience with the latest International regulations. Complying with these complex regulations is standard procedure for us.
METCHEM's logistics department is familiar with any additional demands of some countries, as well as transboundary shipments.
We take care of, or assist you with, the administrative process with local and (inter)national authorities.
TRANSPORT
The transport of your (waste) material is organized by METCHEM in compliance with the relevant legislation.
We arrange all transport by road, rail or ship using reputable forwarding companies. Storage (including for dangerous waste) in fully licensed warehouses is available if required.
Our logistics department handles the material in a safe and responsible way, ADR or IMO included. They take specific requirements into account, so we always provide the best transport-solution for your material.

WAREHOUSING
Our facility in Pennsylvania holds a storage license which allows us to provide short-term storage in order to stock up materials.
During storage we inspect the packaging and perform sampling if necessary.
As you can see at our locations we have mulitple sites where we provide storage. In addition to our facility in the US, we have a licensed warehouse at the border of Germany and the Netherlands (Europark Emlichheim-Coevorden). Storage and repackaging is possible, in compliance with the latest environmental and safety requirements. This warehouse will have all necessary safety-precautions.
At this location we are able to store even self-igniting (ADR 4.2) materials.
ANALYSIS
We work closely together with certified laboratories for analysis of materials. Depending on the material and its metal content, a method of analysis is chosen.
Our processing team tailors the recycling process based upon the received assay results. Goods are usually processed after confirmation of the assay.
THIRD PARTY ASSAY
We cooperate with renowned assayers to assure independent and reliable analysis and weighing. Third party assayers like ALS Inspection, SGS, Alfred H. Knight or according to your preference can be appointed at request.
RECOVERY / TREATMENT
When the quality is confirmed, the material is recovered or recycled in our own recycling facility located in West Alexander, Pennsylvania. At our facility the materials will be recycled in an environmental friendly way and with the most competitive return.

PAYMENT AND DOCUMENTS
When recycling is completed, payment is done and the documents are signed and finalized. After recycling a certificate is issued to complete the process.
